Ingredients :

Jojoba Oil, Methyl Dibromoglutaronitrile + Phenoxyethanol, Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane + Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, Isoprophyl Myristate, Mineral Oil, Butylene Glycol, Isohexadecane, Cl 42090, Perfume, Purified Water.

Just got it yesterday, I bought it for Rp. 25.000 (around $27) at Sophie Counter in Royal Plaza Surabaya, actually I wanted to buy fairness cleanser (which I already reviewed before), but this product attracted me since it did not contain alcohol. Well, sounds good eh…

It’s a 2 phase liquid so u have to shake it well before using it. The texture is watery. It has fragrance in it which is medium scented, I personally don’t like the smell.

Well, seems like I did not read the ingredients list, it contains mineral oil. U can say that I’m allergic to mineral oil since products with mineral oil always broke me out, they clogged my pores.

First time I tried it to remove my BB cream, I feel that it’s cleansing power is not that good. I like Sophie Martin Fairness cleansing milk better than this one. With this make up remover I have to wipe my face using cotton several times until clean enough. I don’t think it will be good enough to remove heavy or waterproof make up with this. I did not experience tight or squeaky feeling on my skin after using, this cleanser left my face moisturized. Too bad after the second using this I got pimple on my cheek, on the third usage I was pretty sure that it clogged my pores coz another zit appeared. The zits stopped to appear as I stopped using this product. I gave it up to my friend from office and she’s doing fine with it.

Pros :

- Non-alcohol

- Did not dry on skin

- Moisturizing

- Contain Jojoba Oil as the top first on the ingredient list

Cons :

- Poor cleansing power

- Contain phenoxyethanol as the top second on ingredient list

- Clogging my pores

- Fragrance and coloring

- Wont suit sensitive skin I guess since it fragrenced and got phenoxyethanol in the top 2 in ingredient list

Who may like this :

- Dry – Normal skin

- only for removing light makeup

- who can tolerate mineral oil in skin care

Who may not like this :

- Oily skin

- Waterproof or heavy make up user

- Sensitive skin (since it fragranced, colored, Phenoxyethanol as the top second ingredient)

Will I repurchase? Sorry, Sophie, I like ur other products but not with this. Definitely No.
