Milk Cleanser Review : Mustika Ratu Pembersih Sari Jeruk Nipis

Hello Dear Readers,

This time I'm gonna talk about cleanser. If u followed my blog regularly, u must know that cleanser has become the essential part of my daily routine. I don't use face soap/ face wash too often now, mostly just once in a day, sometimes twice if I feel my face is really dirty.

Mustika Ratu Lemon Lime Cleansing Milk for Oily and Problem Skin
With Aromatic Essential Lime Oil and Vitamin E (75ml)
Price : IDR 9k (around $1)

I ever mentioned this product in my previous post HERE.

Actually I've been repurchasing it several times. When I did not have enough money to buy more expensive cleanser, then I came back to this product.

Base Review : Sariayu Alas Bedak Whitening Aromatic

Hi, there
This is one among the times when I'd like to write review in my national languange, Bahasa Indonesia. The product I tell in this post is from local Indonesian Brand, Sariayu Martha Tilaar. But don't worry, for foreign readers, that's why I attach translate button on my side bar :)
So here we go.

Moisturizer Review : Sariayu Pelembap Jeruk Normal Berminyak Relaxing Aromatic

Hello, Dear readers

I bought this product around November 2012, and I just finished writing the review now. Seems like it's been months this draft has been sitting on my file. Sariayu is from Martha Tilaar, one of biggest major local Indonesian brands. Other than Sariayu, Martha Tilaar is being 'mother brand' for many labels such as Biokos and PAC.

Sometimes I do random additional shopping,  and what I buy usually cheap priced products which I never tried before. Just to wish that one of them will suit me to be my back up product when I run out money to buy my main regimen. And here once again I tripped on this one. Wanna know why? Keep reading :)

Pic is courtesy of Martha Tilaar Website
I've given my bottle to my neighbour and I forgot to take the picture >.<
Luckily I've written down the product info on the back of the bottle before I let it go.

Primer Review: Lioele Secret Pore Balm

Bonjour, everyone^^

I've been contemplating lately and no matter what trouble I have, I always be grateful to God. There are lot of I should be grateful about, family, friends, people who love and care about me, and all things God gives me chance to get.
Meet my post again, this time I talk about make up primer. For those who have big pores, I'm sure u know how important it is to use pore minimizing primer.

If u read my post HERE, u would know how I got this product.

Those are the sample sachets I got from Lioele counter at Grand City.
The SA was very kind to gave me 6 samples, three of them are those in the picture^^

This is how the product looks like.
It's a white cream or white balm if I may say.

This is how it looks like on the back of my hand

The commercial info, I took the pic randomly from google.
U can see on the pic about how to use this product.

Another commercial pic about how to apply this product.

1. Product Name
LIOELE SECRET PORE RICH BALM (Primer)

2. Product Description From The Full Version Carton Box

HOW TO USE
After skin care, take proper amount on hands, apply it on pores or fine wrinkles of your skin evenly and lightly. Or after make up base or foundation on skin, take proper amount on hands, apply it on pores or fine wrinkles of your skin evenly and lightly.

CAUTION
1. For external use only
2. Avoid contacting to eyes
3. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear
4. Keep out of reach of children
5. Do not store this product in an inappropriate place such as high or low temperatures or under direct sun light.

INGREDIENTS
Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone/ Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Vinyl Dimethicone/ Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Petrolatum, Silica, Cyclomethicone, Ceresin, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Polysilicone- 11, Titanium Dioxide, Dimethicone, Bis- PEG/ PPG-14/ 14 Dimethicone, Ceteareth-6 Olivate, Butylparaben, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Glyceryl Linoleate, Glyceryl Linoleate, Glyceryl Arachidonate.

3. The Product Target
Skin type: all skin type
Problems: Big pores, oily skin
Ages : all ages
Usage : before make up foundation/ bb cream

4. Form and Formula
Consistency: thick, concentrated, soft dry texture balm
Color : white

5. The amount of product in 1 item
I only got sample sachet which is 1 sachet enough for 4- 5 times usage.

6. Scent
The scent is somewhat floral (I’m not sure, I’m bad at describing scent). The smell is the soft one and stay a while after I apply the product.

7. Product Finish
The result is powdery matte. It has smooth touch  on our skin surface. The Dimethicone plays its role in creating this soft silky surface on the skin.

8. Blend- ability
The balm is light on skin and easy to spread, easy to settle on skin.
The strange thing is I had problem in blending bb creams I had after applying this balm. This primer made the BB cream harder to spread and blend evenly. Even when I use BB Cream from Lioele, this one did not give exception. Since I was only having Etude Precious Mineral BB Creams and 3 Lioele BB Creams, I tell my opinion based on my experience blending those product. I did not try to use it with foundation back then so I can’t tell if it also has blending problem with foundation.

9. Skin tolerance and benefit
This is for all skin type. If u have sensitive skin which can’t tolerate high percentage of silicone derivatives, I suggest u stay away from it. If u are currently suffering from acne or other skin problem, don’t use it. It is gonna worsen ur acne.
The benefit I got was that this product could hold my excess oil and made my face stayed matte for longer time than usual. I blotted less than when I did not wear this primer.

It does its job to minimize the appearance of my big pores. Since I don't have any fine wrinkles or lines, I don't know how the result with those problems.

I ceased the use when my face was in the sensitive mode or when I had pimples on my face. I used it again when my skin relieved to normal.

10. Order of use
Facial Wash -- > Toner -- > Moisturizer -- > Lioele Secret Pore Rich Balm -- > CC/ BB Cream/ Foundie

Since this one is sebum absorber, so when u apply this product, pay more attention to T- zone/ the oiliest part of ur face.

11. Overall Conclusion
This is a decent face primer for covering pores and creating smooth canvas on skin surface.

Repurchase? No, my skin is pretty sensitive and I rarely use primers. Besides, the presence of petrolatum in the ingredients list is not the kind I wanna have.

Tell me ur thoughts, pretties :) Are u a Lioele user too?

Another Versatile Blogger Award for Me^^

Hi, everyone

In this post I'm gonna post another Versatile Blogger Award I got from Miss Dini.

http://dinisetiyorini.blogspot.com/2013/04/blog-award-versatile-blogger-award-for.html

Thank U, Miss Dini^^ I want to say my appreciation for all the support for my blog and being so kind to nominate me this award on April 2013 (previous month). I promised I'd be doing the award post soon but I just happened to post it, seems that I was pretty late, sorry^^

So here is the rule I copied from Miss Dini Blog.

Rules for The Versatile Blogger Award :
  1. Nominate some other blogger
  2. Let them know you have nominated them
  3. Share 7 random facts about yourself
  4. Thank the blogger who has nominated you and link back to them in your post
  5. Add the Versatile Blogger Award to your post

Since I have received the same award before, so I decided to not tag anyone in this post. But if u want me to give this award to u, just let me know.
Now let me continue to write about 7 random facts about me.

7 Random Facts About Me:

1. I recently following UK TV Series titled Nikita. In love with Shane West and Devon Sawa in the film.

2. I always have problem telling ugly truth. U know there are times when I want to tell or remind someone about the truth, but I just don't have a heart to do it. I lied instead of telling the truth which might misguide them. Example : when my friend just bought expensive dress but the item did not resemble its price (it was cheap material and the style is not good), she asked if the dress is lovely enough, I would just say yes.

3. Up until now, I never watched horror film in a cinema. The types of movie I use to see on cinema are comedy, action, and animation. Although I'm sort of fan of horror movie, I never intended to watch it inside the cinema ha ha...

4. In love with korean skincare since late 2011. First Korean skincare I bought was Skinfood.

5. I always stock lip care product since my lips are easily getting dried.

6. When watching movie inside the cinema, I prefer eating pizza, hamburger or other kind of bread and bringing some bottled drink rather than buying chips, popcorn, ice cream and milk shake/ coffee in carton cup.

7. When buying a bag, I usually avoid total black color. Because for me black is just for clothes, and shoes sometimes, but not for my preference color for bag.

I guess that's all for now. Gals, u should check on Miss Dini's blog, it is interesting Indonesian blog. She writes many useful tips in there, not just about beauty, but also Indonesian culinary, fashion and travelling too.

How about u, readers? Wanna join me to receive this award? Just let me know :)
Thank u for reading my post and have a nice day!

Compact Foundation Review : Make Over Perfect Cover Two Way Cake

Acne Care Product Review : Etude AC Clinic Pink Powder Spot Patch Super Fit

Hello, pretties
Some months ago acne started to invade my face again. Maybe due to hormonal and stress. I was looking for trouble care product when I got my hand on this item.
I would say that this product is quite practical. U just have to attach the sticker to the troubled area.
I often create mess when applying cream or acne lotion but with this spot sheet, not anymore. The sheet contains patch (treatment sticker) in different sizes. U can pick based on how large is ur pimple.

This is the commercial pic I took randomly from Google

This is the back side of the sachet.

Where I bought : Metro Dept. Store Ciputra World Surabaya

This is the front side of the sachet. U can see Etude AC Clinic logo on it.
The sachet  already torn because I opened it.

The patch is in form of round white semi transparent sticker.

Most written in Korean

Click to enlarge, so u can see the ingredients list.

My order was:
Facial wash -- > Toner -- > Spot Patch

This spot patch really worked for me. I always used it at night and I saw the result in the morning. For little pimples, only took 1 night to heal and dried when I looked at it in the morning. For medium pimples, sometimes it could dry in 1 night. But sometimes it only diminished and showed its ‘white eye’ in the morning. For deep and extra large acne, it my took 2-3 nights to heal in my experience.

What I like :
- easy to use without mess
- does what it claims in healing pimples
- cure without irritating
- easy to remove
- travel friendly

What I don’t like :
- pricey

Repurchase? Yes, if I get trouble on my face again. But I hope not, wish pimples stay away from me forever.
I would recommend this item to anyone who want practical product for acne treatment that can be used without mess.

Lipstick Review : Etude Etoinette Crystal Shine Lipstick in PPK 002 Dew Laden Petals Kiss

Hi, pretties

Finally I have fulfilled one of my wishlist.

The commercial pic. Courtesy of Etude.

Today I post about Etoinette Lipstick. I was intended to buy it because several positive reviews I read. Not to mention that the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Makes u feel like a princess if u have it :)

Etoinette Lipstick and Blush On. See the E letter :) Cute
The packaging come in ballet pink color, so girly

This is the info on the web. Courtesy of Etude.

Etude Etoinette PPK 002 Dew Laden Petal Kiss

This is the lipstick and the box, I compared the size with the Etoinette Mirror.
Even the box is so pretty. I want to keep it.

The box is cute but sadly it does not explain anything about the ingredient list of this product.
Key ingredients: Murumuru and royal jelly.
Seriously, I googled so much but I could not find the complete ingredient list. I browsed Etude Site and it did not provide the full ingredient list either. Somebody help me?

This is how the lipstick bar looks when twisted to the full.

The logo carved on the lipstick bullet.

Look at the gorgeous E logo. I wish it was D letter *ha ha slapped

This is how it looks inside the container

Look at the design, it even has cupola on the top

Sorry for the blurry pic.
As u can see, the is a ribbon- like detail on the center cupola. It has 2 on it, back and front.

Detail on the bottom

Detail on the 'belt' of the container

See the shine of the lipstick bullet? Yes, the formula is really full loaded of moisture.

Scent :
It has strong rosy scent with hint of I'm not sure maybe almond or some kind of butter smell. But don't compared the rose scent with Anna Sui Lipstick. Anna Sui's is more expensive and of course smell much more pleasant and enchanting.
The smell lasted for a while after application.

Texture :
Creamy and moist. U don't need lip balm before applying this. Seriously this one is quite moisturizing. It glides easily on ur lips surface.

Coverage and finish :
The coverage is basically sheer, but u can build it until reaching medium coverage and more vibrant color.
If u want soft color for natural expression u can add 1 or 2 layer. If u want more accent, u can swipe it boldly in the center of ur lips. If u want to achieve medium coverage and more bright/ vibrant color, u must apply it more than 5 swipe, maybe ten or more.
I gotta remind u, u better scrub or clean ur lips first from dead cell flakes before using this lipstick because this product won't look good on dry chopped flaky surface.
It won't cover imperfections  on ur lips.
Another thing I don't like about this lipstick is that it sinks into lines. I usually put lip balm in thin layer to reduce the possibility that it would sink into the lines.

Something I like from the color, when the coverage is gone, this lipstick leaves my lips with pink sheer hint that creates MLBB look (my lips but better).

View from top

This is the swatch on my hand.
Sorry this pic is taken in the poor lighting.
There's subtle shimmer on it. U still can see in the photo.

The color is sheer

This is how it looks on my lips.
I'm sorry for the poor pics and lighting. And for my chopped flaky lips.
The color on the photo may looks bit darker than the real.
The photo was taken not from symmetrical angle in case u wonder why the angle of this photo is a bit strange.
I'm having trouble capturing photo of my lips from front.
Sorry, it's very hard for me to take picture of my lips with my lowres phone camera.
(All my pictures in here are taken with phone camera)
My lips are heavily pigmented. U can see the medium coverage can't fully cover my dark lips.
I used lip balm first in thin layer first to reduce the appearance of my flaky lips before applying the lipstick.

My Etoinette collection

That's all I can say.
Repurchase? I don't know when I'm gonna finish this one. Yeah, I think the answer is maybe, but for another color.

I know maybe u already read alot of reviews about this product and I am sure late to post about it. But, well, this is how I describe this product from my point of view. Hope I can add some more reference for u.

Have a nice weekend. See u on my next post, and remember to tell me ur thought on the comment, it's a pleasure for me to know that someone is reading my blog :)

BB Cream Review : Etude AC Clinic Daily Sun BB Cream SPF 30/ PA++

Hello dear readers^^

Has it been long time since my previous post? Yeah, I know I don't blog constantly.
First time, I made this blog to store my experiences. So I won’t forget what kind of products I’ve tried.
For a girl with limited budget like me, I do realize how important is hearing someone elses experiences regarding the product I want to buy. And how much miserable it feels like, to spend some considerable amount of money to buy products that do not suit our skin. Then I thought, that maybe many girls out there could get some benefit from my experiences, and  I could help them. By sharing my reviews, I could help many people picking products that probably would suit them. As well preventing many people from getting the wrong beauty products.

I hope I can be helpful for others and sharing is really awesome^^

Now, I’m gonna tell u my tale with Etude AC Clinic Sun BB Cream.
I purchased AC Clinic Admission Kit (Trial Set) that I already mentioned in HERE, u can see the ingredients list in that page too. This is one of the product in the package.

This is the set where this product is included in.
Pic taken randomly from google.

Pic taken randomly from google.

This is the full version, in case u haven't known.
Pic taken randomly from google.

Description:
Etude House AC Clinic Daily Sun BB SPF30 PA++ : Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress, AC Clinic delivers trouble care. UV protection BB Cream supplies natural expression coverage with a non-comedogenic formula.

This is how the cream looks like

Aww... actually I'm so embarassed to put my bare face here.
Don't zoom it, please >.<

The finish is semi matte. Sorry for the poor lighting.
The pic may look little darker and grayish but the real is not like that.
Sorry because my poor camera  >.<
I add more amount/ layer on several dark spots I have, it requires blending technique.
U can see my dark blemishes concealed even not fully covered.

I almost finish the tube.
For the ingredients list, click HERE

Flattened tube.

It manages to conceal medium dark circles which I usually have after staying up late. It also hides some big pores and light blemishes. For dark blemishes, u can add more amount.
I think I know the reason why they made the shade in soo white and pale color. U know that people with acne prone skin usually have redness, blemishes, and other imperfections in their skin. The shade was made into white so it can neutralize the unwanted color of redness, acne spots and any skin darkening that usually experienced by troubled skin, imo.
It takes time to adjust into skintone but even a couple of minutes, it did not nearly reach the color of my skintone.

I'm not having fair skin so the single option in shade is really troublesome for me. That's why I usually top this bb cream with my make over two way cake no. 03 sandy beige to neutralize the 'too white' color.

My order with this BB Cream usually:
Facial Wash -- > Toner -- > (sometimes) moisturizer -- > Etude AC Clinic Daily Sun BB Cream SPF 30/ PA++ -- > Make Over Two Way Cake no. 3 Sandy Beige -- > (sometimes) Erhalogy Loose Powder

The cream has dry texture and harder to spread evenly compared to Etude Precious Mineral BB Creams that I have reviewed before. It's not quick dry type so u will have enough time to blend it, don't worry.
The coverage is buildable from sheer to medium, but careful, too much layer will be too white on ur face.
About the staying power, I always top it with powder to lock the finish and never wear it alone. Because regarding the texture, I was afraid that it would be cakey in the midday if I did not apply powder on top.
With the order above, this BB Cream could stay nice up to 5-6 hours depends on the condition.

The cream consistency is little thicker compared to Etude Precious Mineral BB Cream that I own. Strange for acne care product, it should be lighter in consistency so it would not be heavy to be accepted by troubled skin.

One thing I underlined the most. This product is supposed to soothe acne prone skin. But when my skin was at bad condition and I wore this, my bumps became worse in the end of the day. And I ceased the usage until my skin got better.

The smell is considered light. Combination of medicinal scent with hint of herbal. It did not disturb me since it would fade soon after u applied the cream.

Wanna repurchase? No. Not this one. It's better to buy other Etude BB Cream.

Tell me ur thoughts, lovelies :) I'd like to hear from u
U know u love me, X.O.X.O (Blogger Girl^^)
